Graduate of ECPI University, Electronics Engineering Technology with a Mechatronics concentration. Retired USN aviation electronics technician, intermediate level of maintenance. Liberal Arts AA degree from Hutchinson Community College, Hutchinson, Kansas community college.
Experience
Twenty year USN veteran, aviation electronics technician first class, and three years with Kansas Army National Guard (Signal Support). No previous tutoring experience other the mentoring during active duty service. I like helping people, and get excited when I can help someone "get it", but do not know if I would like full time teaching at this time. Willing to tutor in Greenville if it coincides with my FT work schedule, in Kinston, Winterville, Goldsboro or small communites between Kinston and these points; will negotiate of areas of further distance but New Burn, Washington, Jacksonville (40-45 minutes one way and I would have to recoupe gasoline costs so it may be advisable to seek some one closer or within one of thes last three locations). Actually even Greenville and Goldsboro are two far unless gasoline reimbursement is provided but OK to call or mail as I will occasionally make trips to Greenville and probably Goldsboro to shop at A.F. base and I can make it coincide with a trip. I have served in many roles while in the military as well as a civilian (technician, supervisor, program manager, military security, private security, prep cook,trainer,etc.) I have taken electronics classes to include digital and analog circuits and systems, fiber optics, programmable logic devices, programmable logic controllers, instrumentation and measurement, compuer organization I and II, Operating systems, Intro to C+ and C++ programming, college algebra, calculus, statistics, earth science (geology and astronomy), and all general education (English Comp. math, social sciences, etc.
